Join my family as we embark on an adventure to provide 52 weeks of service to others.
For years I have looked forward to the day when my children would be old enough to volunteer and serve the community with me. For as long as I can remember, service to others has been a high priority in my life. Then one day it hit me…they are never too young to learn about service.
So I decided to embark on an adventure to show my 6 year old, 4 year old, and 2 year old just how many ways there are to serve others. So here we go, and I hope you will choose to come along with us for the adventure. Maybe it will even inspire you with ways to teach your children to think in terms of all mankind and service to the world.
I’d also like everyone to know that anyone can take on this mission. I work a full time job and commute an hour (each way) to and from work every day. This blog is proof that you are never too busy to make a difference in the lives of others – many small differences make a huge impact.
I hope you will be inspired by our service projects and might also look for ways that your family can help in your community. If you have ideas or needs, please share them with me! I’d also love to share them with others. I look forward to sharing our experiences with you and your family!
